Carol Clayton Ruff
Carol previously worked as a staff attorney with the Beaufort County Probate Court, as a judicial clerk to a South Carolina Circuit Court judge, and she practiced with firms in Columbia, South Carolina and Charleston, West Virginia. Carol also was appointed by the Supreme Court of South Carolina to serve as a juvenile drug court judge.

Carol and her husband, Harley, have three children. In addition to spending time with her family, Carol is the Vice President of the School Improvement Council at Beaufort High School.
